Our PJ day was pretty good! We raised 50 dollars or so and added it to our total. To tell you about the girl we are raising for, she is two years old and was born in Honduras. She came to America looking for money to help pay for chemotherapy. Our goal is to raise 1,500 dollars to help with the cost. We have about $225 already but we will try to raise more money by the time we are out of school. We have two months left but I think we can do it.
We are going to have a donut sale because who doesn't love donuts? Hopefully they will run out fast too but I love myself a good donut! We found out about Diana from Cielo's church. We were happy to help and we will try to make money even after school is out if our goal isn't met. We might start selling candy on our team because another group did it and raised 60 dollars and we think that would help with our total.

We had our first fundraiser last week! It was a success and we raised $155 so far for Diana. The next fundraiser is a pajama day which is tomorrow! We hope to get $150-$200. Diana is in the hospital right now and a few weeks ago Cielo went to visit her to tell her that we're raising money to help her. wish us luck tomorrow!

I am a 7th grade student at Hixson middle school in Webster Groves. My teachers have assigned a project called the, "the 20% time project." Basically we get to learn, create, or do anything we want. I have partnered up with two of my friends Cielo Munoz and Julia Love. Our idea is to create a charity to raise money for a two year old girl that has brain cancer. Her name is Diana and she is from Honduras. Right now her family is struggling to pay for treatment. Our goal is to raise $1,500 for her and her family.
